ICARUS Aerospace was incorporated in early 2016. The Company is established in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The ICARUS Core Team is composed of world-class senior engineers, and mature subject matter experts with top-notch industry know-how. Within their disciplines, our associates take proud responsibility across the full spectrum of new aircraft development. We rely on a powerful network of partners, suppliers and contributors sharing a common passion for excellence in design and in-service use.
The Leadership Team applies demonstrated knowledge. Risks are managed by carefully weighing consequences. We support our projects with zest, with the clear objective of becoming a top, leading Canadian aerospace and defense corporation. Our customer base includes the private sector, Governments as well as Defense and Military. Our performance exceeds that of competitors because ICARUS is razor-sharp focused on its unique product line, together with unlimited access to a highly qualified, North American and world based, pool of aerospace talent and expertise.

ICARUS – LEGEND OF FLIGHT
In Greek mythology, Icarus (Ancient Greek: Ἴκαρος, pronounced as ˈi-kə-rəs) was the son of the master craftsman Daedalus, creator of the Labyrinth. Icarus and his father attempted to escape from Crete by means of wings that his father constructed from feathers and wax. Daedalus tried his wings first, but before trying to escape the island, he asked his son to follow his flight path and warned him not to fly too high close to the sun, or too low close to the sea. Overcome by the giddiness that flying lent him, Icarus soared into the sky flying higher and faster. As he got closer to the sun, heat melted the wax in his wings and they disintegrated. He tumbled out of the sky and fell into the sea where he drowned becoming a legend of flight and a first victim of passion and eternal desire to fly higher and faster. Today the area where he drowned bears his name, the Icarian Sea near Icaria, an island southwest of Samos, Greece.
